• Animal Rights

• British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV)

• KITE: Kids In The Environment
  KITE is a club for young people (aged 7-11) who want to learn more about their environment and wildlife in a fun and exciting way.   The Friends of St. Michael's are a group of friendly folk who are working towards making Flixton more sustainable. They meet each Sunday morning, 10-11am, to do a spot of gardening to help grow organic healthy food for the school and make homes for wildlife.

• Women's Only Disco
  1st & 3rd Sats of month, 9pm-2am, "Jodies" (above "Thompson Arms" pub, Sackville Street). Mainly for mature women and the music is from 1960s to the charts (a lot of 70s is played) it is a safe, friendly environment with a good social atmosphere.

• Women's Volunteeting
