Real Food Guide Web Launch

Linda Vettanen, Manchester Friends of the Earth, photo: Ali dressed as a giant carrot Shoppers at this month's Farmers' Market got more than they bargained for when members of Manchester Friends of the Earth appeared, dressed as fruit and vegetables (thanks to House of Haynes for the costume hire), to promote a new online Real Food Guide at http://www.realfoodguide.org.uk, as reported in NetNews #51.

More and more people are starting to think again about the food they eat and where it comes from, and MFoE campaigner Ali Abbas hopes the new guide will help them make a more informed choice: "People can find out what real food is, and why it's better for their health, the environment and their local community . There are ideas for how to find real food, and our directory lists the local outlets where people can try it out and get real!"
