Free Trees and Bulbs

Thanks to "Parkers Dutch Bulbs", Red Rose Forest currently have thousands of spare bulbs available, including Aliums, Daffodils, Tulips, Crocuses and Narcissi. These should be planted within the next few weeks.

If you would like to use any of these bulbs in environmental or community projects, or simply want to brighten up your visitors centre, then please contact Fliss at Red Rose Forest on 0161 872 1660.

There are numerous community tree nurseries located around Red Rose Forest, which are available to provide young trees free of charge to community or environmental projects. Red Rose Forest is able to assist with species selection, transporting the trees, planting and general management advice.

The tree nurseries also present great opportunities for volunteers to get involved through activates such as seed collecting for restocking and maintenance and care of the nurseries.

If you need trees for a project, or are interested in finding out more about the nurseries, then please contact Fliss on 0161 872 1660.
