Mast Sanity

photo: the Mast Sanity march in London, Hazel Grove banner The tremendously successful Mast Sanity rally on 8th March 2003 was the largest gathering of mobile phone mast campaigners ever seen in the capital. Hundreds of campaigners from every corner of the country turned up to offer support to the declaration delivered to Downing Street asking for immediate change in the legislation to prevent the continual abuse of the law by the operators and for recognition of the actual biological effects of mobile phone technology. Campaigners marched to Trafalgar Square bringing London to a standstill. At Trafalgar square there were a number of prominent speakers including MEP Dr. Caroline Lucas, Sinn Fein Councillor Pat McGinn and Dr. Ian Gibson, an MP and a cancer specialist.
