Recover from Activist Burnout with Ananda Marga Manchester!
Ananda Marga Manchester is a local group of volunteers part of a worldwide network promoting self development and positive social change. We aim to provide tools to help people lead more happy and fulfilling lives, so that society can become more happy and fulfilling itself.
From a small centre in Chorlton, we organise social service projects and hold collective meditation evenings, Yoga courses and vegetarian meals.
Coming up, we have two programmes by a visiting teacher, Yogic monk Dada Pranakrsnananda. From 16th Sept, he will lead a one-week workshop series covering introductory meditation, freeing the emotions and dealing with difficult experiences.
On 12th Oct, Dada will give a day seminar on Yogic Living . Here, one can discover Yoga s ancient practices for physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
We also teach classes at Manchester University and a new course in Piccadilly for unemployed job-seekers to increase confidence, focus and positivity.
