Help Cuba

We've received this appeal for help

This is to alert CSC members and friends of Cuba to two requests for help loading and transporting some of the material aid for Cuba. As yet we don't have definite dates, and I have asked the organisers concerned for as much notice as possible.

Firstly, around 25 Sept. a container for the Cuba Solidarity Campaign annual material aid appeal will arrive at a warehouse in Gorton, Manchester, and will require loading. This will require the help of several people. Unfortunately this is likely to be on a weekday when most able bodied people are working - if you might be available, please let us know.

Later, around the end of October, the Cuban ship will arrive at Liverpool. The main task then will be to help drive some 40-50 ambulances over from Oldham where the Salud organisation has been carrying out renovation and maintenance. There may also be other larger items to transport. So, there will be a need for as many drivers as possible then. Again if this might be you, please let us know.
