Chechen Solidarity

(Based on an article in "Loombreaker")

In May, Vladimir Krotkov, a member of the editorial committee of the Russian anti-fascist newspaper "Chelovechnost" ("Humanity") gave a talk at the Equalz club on the current war in Chechnya. As part of the small anti-war movement, Vladimir's group is attempting to provide practical assistance to refugees and victims of war by sending food, medicines, blankets and so on in a concrete demonstration of solidarity, internationalism and anti-fascism.

Vladimir's trip to the UK was organised by "Workers' Aid", the independent trade union activist grouping who took aid convoys to Bosnia and Kosov@ at the height of the Balkans conflicts.
