On Sunday 18th May police from Gloustershire police force in the UK sprayed CS gas at animal rights protesters who were holding a peaceful demonstration against Gordon Gilder (he transports farm animals abroad). Again several people were hurt some needed medical treatment when they got home.
We are appealing for support from all sections of the environmental movement from any were in the world. Please write to Jack Shaw c/o the House of Commons, London England. And demand that he holds public enquiries into the conduct of his police officers at both of the demos. And please write to us with support.
Also another Consort demo will be held on Sunday 6th July - we need as many people as possible to attend - lets make this the biggest demo held for the animal for years and show solidarity with the environmental movement and show the police that they can't "kick arse" and scare us off. For the sake of the animals, and the environment we need to stick together.
